Gridley to MacArthur, with MacArthur's hand-written answer at the head; Gridley's letter is dated 19 Nov. 1963, MacArthur's response is undated. Ms. Gridley forwards a question from an encyclopedia subscriber about the extent of MacArthur's holdings in the Philippines, which MacArthur denies were significant and identifies as one of the "vile slanders" perpetrated against him.
